Garrison McMurtrey Secures the DFL Endorsement for Ramsey County Commissioner

At the Ramsey County District 3 Special Endorsing Convention on July 23, 2024, Garrison McMurtrey secured the DFL endorsement for the Ramsey County Commissioner position being vacated by the current Ramsey County Commissioner and County Board Chair Trista Martinson by a unanimous vote by acclamation.

Several SD66 elected officials were on hand to celebrate including (pictured below) Saint Paul City Council President Mitra Jalali, Ramsey County Commissioner Trista Martinson, MN Senate Assistant Majority Leader Clare Oumou Verbeten, Ramsey County Commissioner Candidate Garrison McMurtrey, MN House Majority Whip Athena Hollins, Saint Paul City Council Vice President Hwa Jeong Kim, and Falcon Height City Council Member Paula Mielke.
